The city of Alexandria has announce that they will be changing the name TCW High School. The next school board meeting is schedule for 24 Aug 20 which gives us a short widow to complete a petition signing. Both Coach Boone and Coach Yoast family like the idea of naming Boone Yoast Senior High School. They are asking the 71 Titans and the City of Alexandria to support them in this effort. The link below is to a petition to be sign for all that are not Alexandria residents which many of us are not at this time. The city has its on petition on city website for residents and requires 100 signature in order to be recognized. Hopefully I will have that petition populated with information so you can send to those you know still living Alexandria. The families goal is to show the city that people around the country and world. They support us by signing the petition as well in our effort to see their names on our beloved school. Please send the link to your family and friends that are around the country and world. Have folks post the link to their social media sites for all to see and sign.

Exciting news!!! Joe Lynch Executive Director of Alumni Relations for Gettysburg College and the President of the University have approved the Dedication Ceremony for the '71 Original Titans was held on April 14, 2012.

The Dedication Ceremony and Buffet followed on the Gettyburg College campus. This was not a Foundation event. This is a team event like the event in San Antonio, Texas, in January 2006.

The dedication of two trees one was a White Oak and the other a Black Ash with a granite memorial dedicated to the Titans. This is a living legacy of that special year of 1971 when the Titan became a "team" at Gettysburg College. This was our chance to get the whole team, coaches and cheerleaders together for a reunion and share this unique opportunity with family and friends and past supporters of the Titans.
